Governor Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia Governorate received Mr. Sherif Gomaa, General Manager of the Consumer Protection Agency in Al-Sharkia at his office in the governorate headquarters to congratulate him on assuming his new position.

The governor emphasized the need to continue intensifying monitoring campaigns in the markets and shops to track the purchase activity, control prices and combat exploitation and greed of some merchants.

The governor explained that state agencies are continuously working to tighten control over markets and prevent any practices that harm the consumer rights, which contributes in achieving the market discipline and protecting citizens.
