Title:Sharkia Governor inspects Al-Galaa Street and several side streets in Zagazig

🔹 Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, conducted an inspection tour of Al-Galaa Street and several side streets in Zagazig to examine the streets and areas slated for paving, development, and upgrading. This is part of the governorate's plan to develop and improve the efficiency of internal roads, facilitating traffic flow and pedestrian movement. 🔹 During the tour, Eng. Ahmed Fawzy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Roads and Transport, provided the Sharqia Governor with a detailed explanation of the work to be carried out on Al-Galaa Street, a major thoroughfare in Zagazig. He noted that the existing defective asphalt layers are being removed and new asphalt layers are being laid on Al-Galaa Street and the side streets leading towards the sea, including: (Central Street, Work Permits Street, Swiss Street, Al-Raya Street, and the National Bank of Egypt branch in Orabi). 🔹 The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Roads explained that interlocking paving stones will be installed on the side streets in both directions towards Omar Effendi Street, including Al-Sharqawi, Gad, Al-Makateb, and the street branching off Abu Hadab, at a total cost of 12 million Egyptian pounds. 🔹 The governor instructed the head of the First District of Zagazig to fully coordinate and cooperate with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Roads and Transport, remove any obstacles that might hinder the work, coordinate with the Traffic Department to regulate traffic flow during the construction period, secure the work sites, and allow the implementing company to complete the work without disrupting traffic or pedestrian movement. 🔹 During his walk to the Governorate headquarters... The Governor emphasized the continued intensification of cleaning efforts, tree trimming, removal of illegally constructed steps in front of shops, removal of unauthorized advertisements, and taking all necessary legal measures against violators. 🔹 The governor also made a point of meeting with a number of citizens in the street, listening to their demands and problems, and directing officials to quickly study them and find appropriate solutions within the framework of the law and available resources. 🔹 Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny affirmed that the governorate is proceeding with the implementation of its development and beautification plan in various centers and cities, and is striving to improve the efficiency of infrastructure in various vital sectors, especially the roads sector, in order to alleviate traffic congestion, particularly during peak hours, save time and effort, improve the visual appeal, and avoid disrupting citizens' interests. 🔹 The Governor was accompanied on the tour by Mr. Mohamed Kojak, Assistant Secretary-General; Brigadier General Mohamed Fakhr, Director of the Traffic Police; Mr. Shaaban Abu El-Fotouh, Head of Zagazig City and Center; Mr. Abdel-Aati Abdel-Fattah, Head of Zagazig First District; Mr. Mohamed Abu Hashem, Head of Zagazig Second District; and Mr. Mohamed El-Sayed, Director of the Governorate's Field Monitoring Department.
