Title:Sharkia Governor Announces Launch of First Phase of "Wave 28" to Remove Encroachments on Agricultural Land and State Property

🔹Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, announced the launch of the first phase of the 28th wave of operations to remove encroachments on agricultural land and state property. The operations began yesterday and will continue until March 27th, aiming to firmly address all forms of encroachment. He noted that the removal campaigns are being carried out in coordination between executive and security agencies and relevant state authorities. Deterrent legal measures are being taken against violators in accordance with the directives of the political leadership to preserve agricultural land and protect the people's rights, and in implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Recovering State Lands, the directives of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and with close and continuous follow-up from Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development. The governor explained that the first phase of the 28th wave of demolition campaigns resulted in the removal of 13 cases of illegal construction on agricultural land, totaling 13 carats and 7 shares, across several districts and cities in the governorate. He emphasized that the executive authorities will not tolerate any infringement on the people's rights and will enforce the rule of law. He noted that the action plan aims for precise monitoring and immediate action on illegal spatial changes detected via satellite imagery, ensuring the removal of violations at their inception before they escalate into serious and difficult-to-manage offenses. El-Ashmouny affirmed that the state is adopting a decisive approach based on firmly addressing any violation, regardless of its scale, fully recovering state rights, and achieving urban planning order. This will be accomplished through full coordination between the security, agriculture, and irrigation directorates, as well as all relevant authorities, to guarantee effective implementation on the ground. He stressed that no new illegal construction will be permitted and that the necessary legal measures will be taken swiftly against those responsible. The governor indicated that the highest level of preparedness has been activated and the central national network control center in the governorate has been activated to monitor the progress of work around the clock and submit daily reports on the extent of the removal operations. He directed the heads of centers and cities to provide all means of logistical support and overcome any obstacles to ensure effective implementation on the ground. The governor called for concerted efforts between local units, state authorities, and the spatial changes unit to ensure the implementation of the targeted phase within its specified timeframes, thus contributing to the preservation of state lands and protecting agricultural areas from erosion.
