Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, chaired the main operations room at the governorate headquarters. The room, comprised of representatives from all relevant authorities, monitored the progress of the second day of the runoff election for the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections. The governor ensured that all polling stations opened and voting commenced according to the schedule set by the National Elections Authority, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The meeting was held in the main conference hall at the governorate headquarters. 🔹 The governor, along with the heads of districts, cities, and neighborhoods, and members of the committee, followed up on the electoral process for the second day of the runoff election. He confirmed the readiness of the polling stations and committees, and the presence of all judges, advisors, and observers at their respective stations. He emphasized that all polling stations opened on time to receive voters and that no obstacles hindered the electoral process. He emphasized the commitment of the governorate's executive bodies to maintain impartiality towards all candidates, while continuing to provide all forms of logistical support to those overseeing the process and working to ensure the comfort of citizens while casting their votes. 🔹 The governor explained that all executive bodies in the governorate are fully prepared to provide complete support to voters and facilitate their participation in the electoral process, ensuring they can exercise their constitutional right in an atmosphere of order and transparency.
