As part of Governor Hazem El-Ashmouni's, governor of Al-Sharkia following-up on the efforts of Al-Sharkia Consumer Protection Agency to support and protect citizens' rights, combat monopolistic practices in the markets and control the unfit for human consumption goods, through the continuous market campaigns in coordination with the relevant authorities to monitor the trading activities and issue reports against the violators.

Based on the instructions of Mr. Ibrahim El-Seginy, Head of the Consumer Protection Agency, to activate the oversight system to regulate markets, protect citizens' consumer rights and address all the forms of fraud and exploitation by implementing the Consumer Protection Law No. (181) of 2018.
