Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, distributed 10 CB wheelchairs for children, 7 standard wheelchairs, 2 hearing aids for children, and 4 prosthetic limbs to deserving residents of the governorate with disabilities. This initiative aims to support and empower them to lead their daily lives with ease, in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide them with full support as an integral part of society and to enable them to live their lives normally. 🔹 The Governor praised the fruitful cooperation between the Directorate of Social Solidarity and civil society organizations, emphasizing that these noble initiatives complement the implementation of the presidential initiative "Decent Life," launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide a better life for citizens and care for the most vulnerable groups. 🔹The governor pointed out that we are witnessing today a shining example of successful partnership between executive bodies and active civil society organizations that are always keen to provide care for people with disabilities. He thanked the participants for their sincere efforts in extending the umbrella of social protection to those in need within the governorate and for their tireless work to provide a dignified life for every citizen. 🔹For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Sharqia indicated that the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities guarantees them many rights and various services that contribute to improving their quality of life. He noted that we are witnessing today the fourth celebration, held in cooperation with the "Your Gateway to Goodness" Foundation, to extend a helping hand to people with disabilities by providing wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, and hearing aids for children. This follows field visits to the cases to verify their eligibility and ensure they meet all the necessary conditions. He pointed out that the wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs will receive the necessary maintenance free of charge for life. 🔹The beneficiaries with disabilities and their families expressed their great happiness at the governor’s reception of them today and the delivery of the appropriate wheelchairs, medical and assistive devices for their condition, thanking him for his full care for them and his keenness to meet their demands, integrate them into society and provide them with a better life.
