The Governor of Al-Sharkia holds a coordination meeting to overcome the obstacles which face the projects of drinking water and sanitation in Zagazig Center.

Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, held an extensive meeting with the following:

▪ Engineer Iman Refaat, Head of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation Projects in Al-Sharkia.

▪ Major General Engineer Mohamed Othman Serry, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Al-Sharkia.

*  Engineer Khaled El-Badry, Head of Al-Sharkia Central Electricity Sector.

 * Engineer Nabil Fathy, General Director of Implementation at the Executive   Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Al-Sharkia.

This took place in the presence of:

▪ Mr. Mohamed Kajak, Assistant Secretary-General.

▪  Mr. Shaaban Abu El-Fotouh, Head of Zagazig Center.

This meeting was held in his office at General Diwan to discuss the progress of the project  of expanding wastewater treatment station in Zankaloun in Zagazig center, which is designed at a  capacity of 15,000 m²/day, at cost of 26 million Egyptian pounds and with 99% execution.

At the end of the meeting, the governor emphasized his commitment to follow up the progress of the development and service projects, stressing the importance of finding urgent solutions to any challenges that face the implementation.
