Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, emphasized the importance of training hospital directors and department heads on successful leadership. This training will enable them to lead medical and administrative teams to achieve high medical standards, make better strategic decisions, improve communication skills with doctors and hospital visitors, enhance the quality of patient care, and create a positive work environment. For his part, Dr. Ahmed El-Bili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sharkia, explained that the Directorate's Training Department organized a three-day training program titled "Effective Leadership and Shared Governance." The program aimed to train hospital directors, department heads, and representatives of the Technical and Clinical Review Department in health departments on successful management. This training program is part of the Ministry of Health and Population's training program. The details of the training program are as follows: · Training duration: 18 training hours · Location: Meeting room at the Health Affairs Directorate · The training program included: (Definition of effective leadership, leadership theories, leadership styles, characteristics of an effective leader, definition of the organizational structure and its types, definition of governance concepts, shared governance, its objectives, and benefits, and training workshops on administrative activities) · Training facilitator: Dr. Alaa Youssef, Director of the Technical and Clinical Review Unit at the Health Affairs Directorate in Sharkia.
