Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharkia, confirmed that the presidential initiative "Decent Life" has succeeded in creating a real breakthrough in the targeted villages through the implementation of integrated development and service projects that have contributed to improving citizens' quality of life. He explained that the initiative is not limited to infrastructure projects alone, but extends to include the economic empowerment of low-income families, enhancing their ability to produce and achieve self-sufficiency.
The governor indicated that the state is making steady progress toward transforming the reality of rural Egypt and transforming it into an exemplary development model by enhancing community participation and expanding the umbrella of social protection.
In this context, Dr. Aida Attia, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women's branch in Sharkia, explained that the projects delivered to eligible families are being monitored continuously to ensure they are actually benefiting from the support provided. This is achieved by organizing field visits to ensure the initiative's objectives of empowering the neediest families and improving their standard of living are being met.
