Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, visited the location of a partial collapse of an old house in Mawlid El-Nabi Street in Zagazig City, which had been subject to a demolition order. The collapse occurred during the implementation of the demolition works carried out by the contractor with no deaths or injuries reported.
The Governor of Sharkia immediately headed to inspect the site after receiving notification from the National Emergency and Public Safety Network Control Center, stating that an old building had partially collapsed during the planned demolition works. The governor was accompanied by Major General Amr Raouf, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Al-Sharkia Security; Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moaty, Deputy Governor; Major General Abdel Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary General of the Governorate; Professor Mohamed Kojak, Assistant Secretary General of the Governorate; Professor Shaaban Abu El-Fotouh, Head of Zagazig Center; Professor Ahmed Dahi, Head of First District and Engineer Mohamed Salah, Director of the Rapid Intervention Unit at the General Diwan. They made an on-site monitor to make the necessary procedures to protect lives and property.
