Title:Al- sharkia Executive Council reviews investment plan for fiscal year 2025/2026 and approves naming schools after the nation's martyrs in appreciation of their precious sacrifices.

Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharkia, stressed the need for the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods, as well as the heads of agencies, companies, and directors of service directorates, to accelerate the implementation of the unified investment plan for the current fiscal year 2025/2026, this should be achieved by expediting the implementation of tender and award procedures and utilizing the allocated funds to complete ongoing projects in centers, cities, and neighborhoods, benefiting citizens.

This came during his chairmanship of the Governorate's Executive Council meeting, attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Moati and Engineer Lobna Abdel-Aziz, Deputy Governors; Mr. Mohamed Kojak, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate; Brigadier General Ahmed Shaaban, Military Advisor to the Governorate; Counselor Zakaria El-Shafei, Legal Advisor to the Governorate; Director of the Civil Protection Department; Head of Supply Investigations; a representative of the Church; Directors of Service Directorates, Authorities, and Companies; Heads of Centers, Cities, and Neighborhoods; and Directors of General and Specialized Administrations, the meeting was held in the General Diwan meeting hall.

Ms. Houria Abdullah, Director General of Planning and Follow-up at the General Diwan, reviewed the implementation status of the unified plan in the centers, cities and districts. It was noted that the total investment plan appropriations for the fiscal year 2025/2026 AD amounted to 994 million and 980 thousand pounds from the public treasury, in addition to 146 million pounds in self-financing, bringing the governorate's total investments to 1 billion and 140 million and 980 thousand pounds. The tendering and award procedures are underway, and a request for funding for the first phase is being made from the National Investment Bank, which is implemented under the programs (transportation, roads and communications - supporting local and community services - improving the environment - local administration and technical support - economic development - urban and rural development). This is to improve the level of all public services provided to citizens, so that citizens feel the change towards a better life.

During the meeting, the Governorate's Executive Council approved naming the Al-Asayed Industrial Secondary School, affiliated with the Al-Asayed Local Unit in Dirb Negm, after the martyr Captain Mohamed Nagi Ahmed Abdel Gawad.

Governor of Al-Sharqia affirmed that naming schools after the nation's martyrs commemorates their precious memory and expresses appreciation for the great sacrifices they made to defend the security and stability of the country. He emphasized the need to fulfill the demands of the martyrs' families in appreciation of the pure and noble blood their sons gave in defense of our beloved homeland, Egypt.
