Title:Minister of Housing & Al-Sharkia Governor inspect Abu-Kabir wastewater treatment station, Al-Sharkia Governorate

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and Engineer Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Al-Sharkia, after the inauguration of Khalil Al-Azazy wastewater treatment station in Zagazig, inspected Abu Kabir "Ragheb" wastewater treatment station with a design capacity of 20,000 m3/day.This station is one of the vital stations being implemented with funding from the World Bank as part of the National Wastewater Services Program.

The Minister of Housing emphasized that wastewater projects are expanding across various governorates as part of the Egyptian state's plan to improve wastewater services, particularly in rural areas. He emphasized the importance of accelerating the completion of expansions and household connections to maximize the benefits of the implemented projects.

This was attended by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moaty, Deputy Governor; Major General Abdel Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary General of the Governorate; Brigadier General Ahmed Shaaban, Military Advisor of the Governorate and officials from the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, the National Authority for Drinking Water and Wastewater, the Governorate's Water and Wastewater Company and members of Parliament.
