The injured were transferred to Zagazig University Hospital for treatment. No deaths occurred. The governor received a notification from the National Emergency and Public Safety Network Control Center at the General Diwan, stating that the balcony of an old house on Mawlid al-Nabi Street in Zagazig had collapsed. El-Ashmouny immediately assigned Major General Abdel Ghaffar al-Deeb, Secretary General of the Governorate; Mohamed Kojak, Assistant Secretary General of the Governorate; Shaaban Abu al-Fotouh, Head of the Zagazig Center; and Ahmed Dahi, Head of the First District, to go to the site of the collapsed balcony and monitor the situation moment by moment. He emphasized the governorate's continued commitment to taking the necessary measures to address buildings that are at imminent risk and are at risk of collapse, and to take the necessary legal measures to protect lives and property.
