Title:National Day: and at a cost of EGP 123.4 million, the opening of eight projects in various service sectors.

Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, announced the completion of eight service and development projects in the roads, endowments, Al-Azhar, local administration, and technical support sectors, at a cost of EGP 123.4 million. These projects are ready to open this September as part of the governorate's celebrations of its National Day, which falls on September 9th of each year. These projects will benefit the people of the governorate and contribute to sustainable development and a better life for citizens. The governor of Sharkia affirmed that the governorate is committed to implement development plans and service and development projects in all sectors across the governorate's various centers and cities, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to improve the quality of life for citizens and provide them with the best services. The governor explained that the projects ready to be inaugurated this month are as follows: - Paving and upgrading the Dirb Negm/Shubra Soura/Olila road in Dirb Negm District, with a length of 6 km and an average width of 8 m, at a cost of EGP 35 million. - Paving several internal roads in the Teachers' Compound area in Zagazig City, with a total length of 4 km, at a cost of EGP 15 million. - Construction of the Al-Makhamra Mosque in the village of Sheit Al-Haraba, affiliated with the Kafr Saqr District and City Presidency, at a cost of EGP 2 million. - Development of the Al-Sharif Al-Azhar Primary Institute in Zagazig City, at a cost of EGP 16.4 million. - Completion, replacement, and renovation of the mechanical campaign building for the Zagazig District Presidency, at a cost of EGP 14.7 million. - Construction of the local unit in the village of Sheiba Al-Nakariya in Zagazig District, at a cost of EGP 19.3 million. - Development and upgrading of the Zagazig District and City Presidency building, at a cost of EGP 8.5 million. - Completion of the development work on the marina and wall at the River Rescue Unit in Belbeis City, at a cost of EGP 2.5 million. It is worth noting that this month, as part of the governorate's National Day celebrations, 53 development and service projects are scheduled to be inaugurated at a cost of EGP 1 billion across various districts and cities across diverse sectors.
