Celebrating and rejoicing the National Day of Sharkia Governorate, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports; Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments; Prof.Dr. Hani Sweilem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation; Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia; Professor Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Grand Mufti of the Republic; Major General Eng. Yousry Al-Deeb, Assistant Minister of Education for Educational Buildings Affairs; Major General Amr Raouf, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Sharkia Security; Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moaty, Deputy Governor; Major General Abdel Ghaffar Al-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate; Professor Mohamed Kojak, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate; Brigadier General Ahmed Shaaban, Military Advisor to the Governorate; and a number of directors of service directorates and agencies, heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods, members of Parliament, executive, security, and military leaders, and citizens performed Friday prayers, which were broadcast live on Egyptian television. From Al-Fath Mosque in Zagazig. Friday prayers began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Sheikh Abdullah Azab, followed by the Friday sermon delivered by Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Hamid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Sharqia, titled "The Birth of the Guide and Herald of Peace and Blessings." He spoke about the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, his upbringing, and his noble morals toward his people. He was the most chivalrous, the best-mannered, and the most forbearing. He was known for helping the needy, aiding the afflicted, honoring guests, being kind to neighbors, keeping promises, and being chaste. He was the epitome of trustworthiness and honesty, earning him the nickname "the Truthful and Trustworthy." May God's prayers and peace be upon him, he was a spirit that flows and a life-giving pulse. His words were like scattered pearls and a garden of flowers. His noble name was echoed, enlightening hearts, reassuring souls, and bringing joy to spirits. May God elevate his status and position, and take covenants from His prophets and messengers. Following the Friday prayers, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, congratulated the Governor of Sharkia and the people of the governorate on their celebration of the National Day, which coincides with our celebration of the Prophet's birthday. He prayed to God Almighty to protect Egypt, its people, and its army from all harm and evil, and to spread security, safety, and peace throughout our beloved Egypt, and to keep its flag raised high among nations. Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the people of the governorate on the occasion of the 144th National Day of the governorate, which falls on September 9th, the anniversary of the stand of leader Ahmed Orabi, son of the village of Hariya Razna in Zagazig, before the Khedive of the country, demanding freedom and dignity. He emphasized that this September will witness the inauguration of several service and development projects in various villages, centers, and cities across the governorate, which will contribute to comprehensive development, strengthen infrastructure, and provide a better life for the people of the governorate.
