Title:Al-Sharkia Governor inspects the ongoing paving work in Faqus

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al-Sharkia Governor, made an inspection visit to Faqus to follow up on the ongoing paving and development work in the city’s streets and to determine the level of services provided to citizens in all service and development sectors. The governor began his tour by following up on the paving work and raising the efficiency of Al-Munisi Street, 2.5 km long and 12 m wide. He also inspected the paving work on the streets branching out in the right lane towards Sahara Bridge with interlock tiles, at a total cost of 14 million and 800.000 pounds, stressing the head of the center to follow up on the company assigned to carry out the work to quickly complete all work and open the road for the movement of cars and the crossing of citizens. The governor confirmed that the governorate is serious about implementing the development and beautification plan in various centers, cities and neighborhoods to restore the aesthetic and cultural aspect of the governorate and provide the best services to citizens. Ghorab directed to follow up on the ongoing paving and expansion work on Faqus/Abu Shalabi Road, 9 km long, which will be implemented in two phases, in order to accelerate work on the road so that it represents a new traffic axis that contributes accommodating car traffic and works to reduce congestion within the city. The governor added that work is underway on the second phase of the road at a financial cost of 21 million pounds, by Sinai Reconstruction Authority, where the removal of layers of old asphalt has been completed, and work is being doubled and shifts intensified. Work on the road to quickly complete it according to the specified schedule and adherence to applying standard specifications in the work.
