Title:Al-Sharkia Governor holds a meeting with heads of city centers and neighborhoods

Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharkia, affirmed that the governorate is serious about concluding all important presidential files and is moving apace to complete the reconciliation file for some building violations, legalize the status of state-owned lands, and address and respond to spatial changes on a daily basis, he emphasized the need for the governorate to be among the top governorates in achieving completion rates. This came during a meeting held by the governor with Brigadier General Mahmoud Metwally, Director of the General Administration for the Protection of State Property, and the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Lobna Abdel Aziz, Deputy Governor, Major General Abdel Ghaffar El-Deeb, Secretary-General of the Governorate, and Mr. Mohamed Nehme Kojok, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate.

Governor of Sharkia has instructed the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods to follow up on the progress of work within the technology centers and ensure the implementation of the new system for receiving reconciliation requests for building violations in accordance with the executive regulations of the law on reconciliation in some building violations and legalizing their status issued by Law No. 187 of 2023, this is to expedite the processing of requests submitted by citizens and resolve their interests as quickly as possible.

The governor also stressed the need to take all legal measures against those encroaching on state-owned land, especially those against whom court rulings have been issued, in order to preserve public funds and the rights of the people. He emphasized that there will be no leniency toward encroachers who are not serious about proceeding with the legalization process and coming under the umbrella of the state and the law, and that they will be dealt with firmly. The meeting also discussed the status of the reconciliation files for building violations and spatial changes.

The governor emphasized to the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods the need to facilitate the process for serious citizens wishing to reconcile building violations and legalize their status in accordance with the law, and to complete as many files as possible in the shortest possible time.
