In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al Sharkia, regarding the advancement and improvement of the public cleaning system...to preserve the environment from pollution and to ensure the health of citizens. Mr. Ayman Heikal, head of Mashtoul Al-Souk Center, coordinated with Mashtoul Al-Souq Health Administration and the Department of Disease Vector Control Department in developing a plan for active insect surveillance and integrated control of disease vectors, which is being implemented to confront climate changes to eliminate insects in order to protect citizens from contracting infectious viral diseases. Accordingly, the campaign used “Teva” device in a number of streets and areas of the city to eliminate mosquitoes and flying insects, in addition to spraying drains. This comes within the framework of the center’s leadership’s keenness to protect people from endemic diseases and to resist disease-carrying insects in order to preserve the public health of citizens... based on the governor’s instructions.
