Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al Sharkia, stressed the need for the executive officials to be present in the street to follow up the services provided to citizens in all sectors, as well as identify their problems and needs and provide them with the best services, stressing that the criteria for evaluating the performance of the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods during the coming period depend on the extent of their presence in the street to follow-up cleaning work, raise occupancy, create new traffic axes, provide the best services to citizens, and restore the civilized and aesthetic character of cities.
And within the framework of the governor’s directives to the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods to continuously follow up on the movement of buying and selling in the markets and Welcome Ramadan exhibitions in the various centers and cities of the governorate,,, Mr. Ashraf Amer, head of the center and city of Minya al-Qamh, went on an inspection tour to inspect "Welcome Ramadan" exhibition for selling basic commodities and foodstuffs at reduced prices to citizens, which is being held by the center's presidency in cooperation with Minya al-Qamh Supply Department.
The head of the center explained that large quantities of food commodities are provided at reduced prices in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan to ease the burden and suffering on low-income people, with tighter control over the markets to address the greed of merchants and the monopoly of commodities, pointing out that the exhibition includes large quantities of food commodities.
