Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, issued strict instructions to the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods to start the work of preparing and establishing “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in various centers, cities and local units in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, in order to provide goods and food products and Ramadan Yamish with the highest quality and at reduced prices than the market prices in front of the citizens, in addition to field follow-up and tightening control over markets and shops to ensure the availability of food commodities at reasonable prices and control the markets to combat high prices, and to relieve the burden of the simple citizen. In this context, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Mahmoud, Head of Mashtoul Al-Souk Center and City, continued the work of constructing and equipping “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in the local unit in Al-Munier, sponsored by Mostaqbal Watan Party for the holy month of Ramadan as part of “Welcome Ramadan” initiative at reduced prices to combat the price hike, which will continue until the holy month of Ramadan, according to the instructions of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor. The head of the center explained that large quantities of food commodities are provided at reduced prices in preparation for the holy month to ease the burden and suffering on low-income people, with tighter control over the markets to address the greed of merchants and the monopoly of commodities, pointing out that the exhibition includes large quantities of food commodities.
