Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, assigned the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods to follow up on the field and tighten control over markets and shops to ensure the availability of food commodities at reasonable prices and control markets to combat high prices, and to ease the burden on the common citizen. In this context, Mr. Shaaban Abu Al-Fotouh, Head of Zagazig Center and City, accompanied by Supply and Veterinary Medicine and various departments and sections concerned with the city presidency, conducted an inspection campaign on licenses of shops, markets and outlets to ensure the availability of goods as well as follow up on the goods on display and the validity and availability of the goods and emphasize the commitment of merchants to prices and instructions within the scope of the center. The city head also stressed the presence of the price announcement for products and the availability of all food commodities and the absence of any shortage of goods, stressing the need not to tamper with prices to ease the burden on the citizen and not to increase the burdens and hold violators accountable for not tampering with prices and exploiting the citizen.
