In implementation of the directives of Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, regarding the improvement of services of centers and cities, the removal of illegal encroachments, and the beautification of squares within the scope of each center and neighborhood separately.
Mr. Mohamed Al-Abasiri, Head of Faqous Center and City, accompanied by the officials of the Encroachments and Environmental Improvement Departments headed by the Center, followed up and supervised the campaigns to remove encroachments on a number of main streets in the city in order to carry out cleaning work, remove garbage, and remove existing encroachments in the place, and to achieve traffic fluidity and reduce congestion and overcrowding.
The campaign resulted in 70 cases of removing encroachments and issuing 10 encroachment reports, in addition to 15 seizure cases.
The head of the center stressed the need to remove the occupations and eliminate the phenomenon of vendors bedding down and take the necessary legal measures against the violations in order to provide safe passage for all citizens, while warning against occupying the street again.
