In implementation of the directives of Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouny, Governor of Al Sharkia, regarding the improvement of services in centers and cities, removing illegal encroachments, and beautifying squares within each center and neighborhood separately. Mr. Mohamed Al-Abasiri, Head of Faqous Center and City, accompanied by the officials of the Encroachments and Environmental Improvement Departments headed by the Center, followed up and supervised the campaigns to remove encroachments on a number of main streets in the city in order to carry out cleaning work, remove garbage, and remove existing encroachments in the place, and to achieve traffic fluidity and reduce congestion and overcrowding. The campaign resulted in 62 cases of removing encroachments and issuing 10 encroachment reports, in addition to 20 seizure cases. The Center Head stressed the need to remove encroachments, eliminate the phenomenon of vendors bedding, and take the necessary legal measures against violations in order to provide safe passage for all citizens, while warning against occupying the street again.
