In implementation of the directives of Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharkia, regarding the improvement of services in centers and cities, removing illegal occupations, and beautifying squares within the scope of each center and neighborhood separately. Mr. Mohamed Al-Abasiri, Head of Faqus Center and City, accompanied by the gentlemen in charge of the occupations and environmental improvement departments at the center's presidency, followed up and supervised campaigns to remove occupations for a number of main streets in the city in order to carry out cleaning work, remove garbage, and remove existing occupations in the place, and to achieve traffic fluidity and reduce congestion and overcrowding. The campaign resulted in 60 cases of removing occupations and issuing 10 occupation reports in addition to 20 seizure cases. The head of the center stressed the need to remove the occupations and eliminate the phenomenon of vendors laying out in the pedestrian tunnel at the station and take the necessary legal measures regarding the violations in order to provide safe passage for all citizens, while warning against occupying the street again. The campaigns are still ongoing within the center’s scope... based on the governor’s instructions.
