In implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al Sharkia, regarding the advancement and improvement of the public cleaning system...to preserve the environment from pollution and to ensure the health of citizens. Acc. Muhammad Al-Abasiri, head of Faqus Center, coordinated with the Health Administration in Faqus and the Department of Disease Vector Control Department in the administration in developing a plan for active insect surveillance and integrated control of disease vectors, which is being implemented to confront climate changes to eliminate insects in order to protect citizens from contracting infectious viral diseases. Accordingly, the campaign used the “Teva” device in a number of streets and areas of the city, and a number of local units within the scope of the center, including (Al-Haysimiya), in order to eliminate mosquitoes and flying insects, in addition to spraying drains. This comes within the framework of the center’s leadership’s keenness to protect people from endemic diseases and to resist disease-carrying insects in order to preserve the public health of citizens... based on the governor’s instructions.
