Prof. Said A. Ossman, governor of Al Sharkia, announced that the Social Fund for development has pumped 247.2 million EGP since the beginning of the governor was encharged by the governance of Al sharkia, including 114.6 million EGP for 925small enterprise and 66.2 million EGP for 11520 micro projects, as well as 67.4 million EGP as grants for rebuilding 75 schools, repaving roads, and removing weeds from the sides small canals.
"Also, the fund presented grants for 25 civil associations to solve the urgent problems that face the civil society such as garbage collecting, women health awareness, employing youth and that led to positive impacts, especially during the transitional phase that Egypt lives nowadays" the governor added.
Khaled Nasr, the general director of the fund in Al Sharkia declared that the fund presents integrated system including financial and administrative services to establish the small projects, referring that the next phase will witness great cooperation with the governorate to develop some industries such as papyrus, clothes and woods. The general director appreciated the attention paid by the governor to overcome any obstacles and present any facilitation to carry out the missions aimed by the fund.
