Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkia, witnessed the celebration of the Endowments Directorate commemorating the night of the middle of Sha`ban at Al-Fath Mosque in Zagazig, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Muti, Deputy Governor, Major General Abdul Aziz Al-Sirafi, Assistant Director of Security for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Eng. Sami Mujil, Assistant Secretary General of the Governorate, and Sheikh Magdy Badran, Undersecretary. The Ministry of Endowments, Dr. Muhammad Hamed, Deputy Director of the Endowments Directorate, a representative of the Office of the Military Adviser for the governorate, and a number of Islamic clerics, executive leaders, and citizens. The celebration began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech in which the shiekh spoke about the virtue of the night of the middle of Sha’ban and its status with Allah Almighty, saying, “The night of the middle of Sha’ban is a night that Allah responds to his Prophet to shift the qiblah of the Muslims from Al-Aqsa Mosque to the Sacred Mosque. During the speech, a number of lessons were clarified from turning the qiblah, which were responding to the commands of Allah Almighty and the commands of His Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and an explanation of the position of our noble Prophet. The celebration concluded with the presentation of religious supplications and prophetic praises The governor congratulated the people of the governorate on the holy occasion, expressing his sincere wishes for our dear Egypt to enjoy goodness and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic. The governor called on everyone to exert more effort, work, and active participation in the process of development and construction to raise the status of our dear Egypt and achieve more progress, stability, and prosperity.
