Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkia, attended the launch of Charity Gates "Abwab Al-Khair" convoys initiative, Ramadan 2024, in order to distribute the food aid which is provided by "Tahia Misr Fund" to the most vulnerable families within the governorate, in front of General Diwan, in presence of Engineer Lubna Abdel Aziz, deputy governor, Eng. Mohamed El Safi, Secretary-General of the governorate, Eng. Sami Mojil, Assistant Secretary-General, Gen. Saeed Abdel-Moaty, governor's advisor for projects, Mr. Adel Imam, manager of the Social Protection Program at "Tahia Misr Fund" , Mr. Abdel Hamid Al-Tahawy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Mr. Shaaban Abu Al-Futouh, Head of Second District.

The Governor confirmed that the governorate is sparing no effort in providing all aspects of support and assistance to the neediest category in cooperation with the civil society organizations, businessmen and the private associations which aim to serve the simple citizen and facilitate his livelihood.

The Governor assigned the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity to coordinate with those in charge of the Fund to distribute the food aid to the private associations to ensure that the support reaches those who deserve it and to benefit from the Fund’s activities in the areas of social protection, economic development and care for the vulnerable families.

The Governor thanked those in charge of "Tahia Misr Fund" as he appreciated the important role of the Fund during this period to support the efforts made by the state, the civil society institutions and the private associations to provide a decent life for the citizens.
