The governor praised the role of the Supply Directorate, in cooperation with the Supply Investigation Department, in monitoring the markets and providing all kinds of goods and foodstuffs to the public of citizens in the various centers of the governorate at reasonable prices, in addition to the continuation of intense daily traffic to monitor the movement of markets, butcher shops and fish shops, and to ensure the quality of the products offered and their observance of all health and environmental requirements, appreciating the efforts of the Police Facilities Department, in cooperation with the heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods, to launch morning and evening inspection campaigns to impose the rule of law, remove all encroachments on the main and secondary streets of cities and villages, and take the necessary measures against violators.

The governor stressed the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods of the necessity of being well prepared to receive the holy month of Ramadan and coordinating with the Supply Directorate and the Chamber of Commerce to hold “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in every center, city and neighborhood to provide all food commodities to citizens at reduced prices compared to their counterparts abroad in order to facilitate their efforts and to combat the phenomenon of high prices.

During the meeting, the governor assigned Eng. Tariq Al-Labban, head of the Central Administration for Water Resources and Irrigation, to quickly complete the process of clearing the drains and waterways to restore the aesthetic and cultural aspect and to preserve the environment and the health of citizens.
