Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkia, stressed the need to pay attention to youth being the effective energy for building the nation and to fill their spare time in positive ways and direct them to serve the community by implementing training workshops for young men and girls of all ages, especially girls and women who are breadwinners, in order to open new horizons for them to work and learn a craft through which they can raise their standard of living.

The governor praised the effective role of the girls' Women’s Clubs in Al-Sharkia to enable women to participate in all sports, cultural and health activities in which they gain experience and skills, in order to achieve financial independence and raise the standard of living.

From his side, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Azim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, pointed out the participation of the girls’ and women’s clubs in the governorate in the activities of the International Book Fair in its 55th edition, which was held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi - President of the Republic, under the slogan “We create knowledge... We preserve the word” at Egypt Center for international exhibitions and conferences in the Fifth Settlement.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports added that the activities of the International Book Fair included training 300 girls from the fair’s visitors to learn some handicrafts to be qualified for the labor market as support for the Egyptian families towards production and establishing small projects according to the goals and mission of the Ministry of Youth and Sports towards building Youth and achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision for sustainable development and building the new republic.
