Prof Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, received (12) citizens from families in need of care and those with disabilities from various centers, cities and villages of the governorate to listen to their problems on the ground and provide the necessary solutions to them, in the meeting room in the General Diwan of Sharkia Governorate, indicating that there is great interest from the governorate in supporting empowering people of determination, immediately after President El-Sisi declared 2018 a special year for people of determination in Egypt. During the meeting, the governor assigned the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity to disburse urgent and monthly financial aid to (9) of the neediest families who are affected by the lack of a stable income to help them bear the burdens of living. Social research was conducted for them and resulted in their eligibility for this aid. In addition to quickly complete the necessary procedures to extract a solidarity and dignity pension for the neediest families, to represent a stable source of income for them, through which they can bear the burdens of life and living expenses. During the meeting, (5) citizens submitted a complaint stating that there was no housing suitable for them, so the Governor of Al-Sharqiya directed the Director of the Housing Fund Administration at the General Office, in coordination with the Directorate of Social Solidarity, to examine their social situation to provide them with suitable housing from what is allocated to families most cared for. In a related context, the governor assigned the Director of the Employment Research Department in the Labor Directorate to provide suitable jobs in the private sector for (5) citizens who wish to work and earn their daily bread due to the lack of any job opportunities in the public or government sector and that the job opportunities are available in the private sector only and through the Directorate. The governor of also assigned the head of Zagazig first district to provide a store with reduced rent for citizen A. a. A from Zagazig Center, in addition to assign the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity to prepare some goods in order to help the citizen start a new life after serving a sentence in prison. In order to provide health and therapeutic care for medical cases, the governor assigned the Deputy Director General of Therapeutic Medicine in the Health Directorate to provide the necessary treatment for the citizen F. A. A. from Al Ibrahimiya Center due to a cartilage injury in the lumbar vertebrae and needing surgery. The governor also assigned the Director of the Citizen Service Department at the General Diwan to communicate with Zagazig University Hospitals to finalize the procedures for providing a knee joint for the citizen A. N. B. from Zagazig. At the end of the meeting, Citizen N.A.M. from Mashtoul Al-Souk Center requested to be able to build a plot of land of his own within the urban space in the city of, so that the governor directs the Director General of the Governor’s Office to follow up with the Real Estate Registration Authority to finalize the procedures for the contract to advertise his plot of land.
