Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al-Sharkia Governor, directed the heads of centers, cities and neighborhoods to intensify daily work to raise the efficiency of the level of cleanliness and beautification, as well as to quickly complete the ongoing paving and development work, and to intensify campaigns to remove occupants and street vendors from the streets and public roads in order to create the appropriate atmosphere for citizens and visitors in preparation for the blessed Eid al-Fitr. In implementation of the governor’s directives, the Presidency of Zagazig 2nd District carried out beautification and washing of the sidewalks in Al Najda and Al Sayden area to improve the level of services provided to citizens. The Presidency of Manshat Abu Omar City also followed up on the completion of painting the electrical poles in all streets and squares in the colors of the Egyptian flag. The Presidency of Al Ibrahimiyya Center and City also carried out maintenance and repair work on public lighting poles on Port Said Street in front of the Veterinary Medicine Department, Al-Hurriya Street, at the entrance to the city, Hahia Road, Al-Markaz Street, and in front of the Central Bank on Al-Gomhouria Street, to improve the quality of public lighting. San Al-Hajar Presidency of the Center and City continued the work of washing the plazas and squares and painting works on Al-Musalmiyya Road, the Center Street, and the entrance to the archaeological area to show the cultural and aesthetic appearance, and the maintenance of lighting poles to improve the level of services provided to citizens. The work also included cleaning the main streets, maintaining and installing LED bulbs, changing dilapidated wires, and maintaining and painting the lighting poles in Al Taiba neighborhood. In Al-Husseiniyah center, the work of painting the balconies, sidewalks and columns at the entrance to the city was continued in order to show the city in a cultural and aesthetic manner. At Faqous Center, in cooperation with the Health Administration, a campaign was launched to spray flying insects and flies with a Teva device in a number of streets and areas and a number of local units within the center’s scope, in order to eliminate mosquitoes and flying insects. In Mashtoul Souq Center, campaigns were launched to remove illegal occupancies and advertisements and take all legal measures against non-compliant people. Lighting poles were also installed on Omar Bin Al-Khattab Street in order to preserve the safety and lives of citizens. The Presidency of the City of Al Qanayat removed the accumulations of garbage from all their gatherings within the city and transported them to the intermediate point in preparation for transporting them to the sanitary landfill in Belbeis.
