Title:Al Sharkia Governor chairs Executive Council meeting and congratulates Council members on Governorate victory in Performance Excellence Incentives Initiative and joining UNESCO

Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkia, chaired the Executive Council meeting to discuss a number of important files and topics that are of benefit to citizens, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati, Engineer Lubna Abdel Aziz Naabi, Major General Sherif Abu Al-Dahab, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority in Al-Sharqia, and Engineer Mohamed Al-Safi, Secretary-General of the Governorate, Engineer Sami Mujil, Assistant Secretary-General of the Governorate, Brigadier General Zakaria Saad, Director of the Facilities Police Department, Colonel Muhammad Salem, Undersecretary of the Traffic Department, Colonel Mohsen Al-Qalsh, Director of the Supply Investigation Department, directors of service directorates and agencies, heads of centers, cities, and neighborhoods, and directors of specific departments, in the meeting room. The Governor began the meeting by congratulating the members of the Executive Council on the occasion of the Governorate’s victory in the Performance Excellence Incentives Initiative in Public Investment Management at the local level, and the Governorate’s accession for the first time to the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) for the year 2023 AD, which is a new achievement added to the Governorate’s record of achievements, topped by the centers. The first is at the level of the governorates of the Republic in all the various work files to benefit the citizens of the governorate.

Governor of Al-Sharkia also praised the efforts of Engineer Lubna Abdel Aziz, Deputy Governor, Prof. Dr. Nahed Mustafa, the national expert for strategic planning and human resources development, and the work team participating in the governorate’s victory in the Performance Excellence Incentives Initiative in Public Investment Management at the local level and the governorate’s accession for the first time to the UNESCO global network. Learning Cities (GNLC) for the year 2023, stressing that the governorate includes qualified and trained human resources to participate in all initiatives and events proposed by the Egyptian state and achieve advanced positions at the level of the Republic.

During the meeting, Governor of Al-Sharkia honored 6 employees of the General Office and affiliated departments by granting them certificates of appreciation for reaching the legal age of retirement.
