Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharkia, inaugurated the prices combat exhibition (Welcome Ramadan), which is held by the Board of Trustees of Tenth of Ramadan City in cooperation with the Tenth of Ramadan City Development Authority and the Supply Directorate in front of Sultan Owais School in 39th neighborhood next to the Rehabilitation Center for People with Abilities and Determinations, in line with the state’s policy of alleviating the suffering of the poor citizen and providing all the citizens’ needs of food and strategic commodities.

The Governor inspected the exhibition sectors to ensure the presence of all types of goods and foodstuffs and to ensure their quality and that their prices ranged between 15 to 20% lower than their counterparts in the market.

The Governor praised the cooperation of the major merchants and company owners in holding the exhibition and displaying their products at reduced prices, as he stressed the necessity to provide the exhibitions and consumer complexes with food commodities throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

The Governor confirmed that the governorate has finished holding “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in all centers and cities of the governorate at reduced prices to combat the high prices.

The inauguration was attended by Dr. Mohamed Helmy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Engineer Alaa Manie, Head of Tenth of Ramadan City Authority, Mr. Ayman Reda, Secretary General of Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association, Engineer Ashraf Abdel Wahab, Vice President of Tenth of Ramadan City Authority for Development, Ms. Fayza Abdel Rahman, Undersecretary of Ministry of Supply in Al-Sharkia and a number of House of Representatives and Senate members.
