Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Governor of Al-Sharqia, made a surprise visit to his city of Manshaat Abu Omar, in order to follow up on the regularity of work in the health and service facilities there and to determine the level of services provided to citizens.

The governor began his tour by following up on the progress of work in the family health unit at Manshaat Abu Omar. He reviewed the unit’s vaccination record and inspected the dental clinic, stressing the continuation of sterilization of medical tools and devices used in the clinic in order to ensure the health and safety of those who frequent the unit.

The governor met with a number of patients and visitors to the clinic and inquired from them about the level of medical services provided to them, stressing that the health of citizens is on the list of work priorities to achieve a healthy and disease-free society.

Governor of Al-Sharkia was also keen to inspect the outlet for selling ration goods in the city of Manshaat Abu Omar in order to ensure the availability of goods and foodstuffs of high quality and to provide them to citizens at the specified prices, stressing the need to intensify ration campaigns to tighten supervision and control over the markets and outlets for selling ration goods and foodstuffs and to take all legal measures against violators.

The tour of the governor in Manshaat Abu Omar city witnessed inspecting the General Office of the City Council to follow up on the regularity of work in the various departments, meet with citizens and listen to their problems in person, directing the city mayor and workers to solve them immediately and quickly resolve their interests in accordance with the law and to continue to exert more effort and work to improve the level of services provided to them.

Governor of Al-Sharkia stressed that the executive branch represents the backbone in providing services to citizens in various service and development sectors, stressing the need for the executive to be present on the street and interact continuously with citizens and work to provide them with the best services.

The governor was accompanied on the tour by Mr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim, head of Manshaat Abu Omar city.
