Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab, Al Sharkia Governor, opened the exhibition of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr supplies, which was held in cooperation between the governorate, the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprise Development Agency and major wholesalers in the former local council building next to the General Court building, to sell goods, foodstuffs, meat, clothing and furnishings at reduced prices to citizens daily from 9 am:9 pm in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. The governor confirmed that the governorate has coordinated with a number of major wholesalers to hold exhibitions in various centers and cities of the governorate to provide consumer goods and Ramadan needs at prices reduced from the market as an initiative to lift the burden and suffering from the shoulders of simple citizens and low-income people. The governor inspected the exhibition pavilions to ensure the presence of all types of goods and foodstuffs, ensure their quality and suitability for human consumption, and provide them at reasonable prices to citizens. The governor praised the cooperation of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency with the governorate in organizing the exhibition to display the products of large and small manufacturers, owners of small, medium and micro enterprises and major wholesalers to stand by the simple citizen and the low-income, noting that the preparation of Welcome Ramadan exhibitions in various centers and cities had been completed by the governorate, in cooperation with the Supply Directorate, the Chamber of Commerce, and major wholesalers, received citizens to purchase the needs of the holy month. Ghorab was also keen to inspect the vehicle of the General Office’s automated bakery project, which provides fresh baked goods at reasonable prices to citizens, stressing the need to provide it with different types of pastries and baked goods to meet the needs of citizens.
